![]() The viral will be followed by a couple more biters. A viral will also burst through a door to the right of the water leading to a staircase. Upon approaching the piano in the middle of the restaurant, a biter will fall down and the biters on the ground floor will wake up. After this point, slide or jump over the shelf on the other side of the basement and head up the stairs into the restaurant proper. Crawl underneath the fallen shelf and check the central area for the first Disaster Relief On-site Package (DROP), be mindful that a nearby pipe will start releasing a burst of hot steam, which will deal damage. It is located in the southeastern side of Old Town, east of the Embers Tower Safe Zone.įrom the entrance of the restaurant, follow the path leading to the basement. The challenge is located within a large building covered in orange quarantine covering. I will show the location of the challenge at the beginning of each video.Three Moons Restaurant is a Quarantine Zone featured in Cuisine and Cargo for Dying Light located in Old Town. I marked each of the challenge locations with the blue waypoint in the game clip. Each one is marked with a foot with speed markings coming from behind it. Here is a map with the location of the parkour challenges in the slums area. The parkour challenges are split up in the two areas. For the videos, I will be doing all of the challenges at daytime so you can see the path to take and the obstacles much easier. If you start a challenge at 6:45am, there is no way you could make it to the finish before morning begins, so go ahead and just make your way back to the nearest safe house, and try again at 9pm.Īlright, let's begin. So be sure both trackers show the same percentage every time you complete the challenge.įinally, although each attempt on a challenge takes on average 2 minutes in real time, this lasts about 30 minutes in game time. If you don't remember which challenges you didn't do at night, I'm sad to say you might have to do them all again in order to find the ones you missed. ![]() BUT BE WARNED! If you decide to do some during the day and some at night, there is no way to tell whether you did do it at night! For instance, you could do all 10 challenges, but only be 80% (8/10) done with doing all the challenges at night. Once you wake up again, head back to the challenge you were working on. In order to speed up time, whenever morning starts again, go back to the nearest safe house and sleep in the sleeping bag. As stated earlier, nighttime lasts from 9pm until 7am. Just push through it and get it done during the nighttime, even though volatiles could start chasing you. Take it from me, you don't want to do each of the challenges twice. Next, make sure you do all these challenges at night. This keeps you from having to wait until the time runs out to restart the challenge. If you start having a bad run where you know you won't finish, just use the hook to fail, and you will be respawned back at the start of the challenge. ![]() Since you automatically fail the challenge the second you use the hook, this becomes quite handy. Keep your grappling hook equipped and ready to use. If you could use your grappling hook, you could knock every challenge out in 30 seconds easy, but that's not the point. These challenges are meant to put your running skills to the test, not to see how well you can use your grappling hook. Tempting as it is, the challenge will fail as soon as you use it. My first tip before we start is more of a condition of these parkour challenges. These challenges will separate the men from the boys. Maybe I'm not a good player at time trials or what, but since I did these challenges a year ago, I had to spend almost half an hour for each challenge practicing before I had a run where I completed the challenge. I know I may be over exaggerating how hard these challenges are, but I'm not. These challenges are meant to put your free running abilities to the ultimate test. I can't emphasize how important it is to practice each of these challenges. Practice until you know you can do it without throwing your controller at the wall. Practice until you know every single turn, jump, ledge, every little detail about the challenge. Practice until you see the challenge in your sleep. Before we dive into the parkour challenges, I just want to say a few things.
